As others have said, Leicester are unlikely to be competing with Brighton. Much more important for me is that he is getting quality game time with a Premier League club which he wasn't going to get with us. If he comes back next season with his game significantly improved, that has to be good news for both club and player. Another possibility is that he might do so well with Leicester that one of the wealthy PL clubs will come in for him and give us the usual oversized fee. I'd prefer the former but if the latter helps us remain solvent, and invest in other parts of the team, so be it.

You can't satisfy paranoia only feed it.
Though what THPP was complaining about during Hughton PL seasons when we didn't fanny about at the back, spent most of games in a low block and definitely were fighting relegation is a mystery I'm not putting in the effort to solve.

There is undoubtably a bit of Messi about him. The guys I go with refer to him as “our Messi”. Gutted he’s not playing for us.

I’d add Georginio to the potential outs. I’ve just got a feeling that he is going get better and better and have an absolute flyer this season that will attract a lot of unwanted attention.

I think TB confirmed that we won’t be signing many players for the next few windows so your analysis is correct. I think we’ll be a selling club until at least 2026, probably 2027.

The reason he's not expecting us to be signing more players is because he's not expecting us to sell them either. If we start selling our best players, we'll need to replace them, and will obviously have the funds to do it.

If Georginio has an absolute flyer (I'm not expecting that) then perhaps that would mean we finish quite high, and if we made Europe there's no way Bloom would want our star performers to leave before the adventure.

Disagree, we will be hoping to bring back the loanees and promote the fringe players as we move our stars on, as long as the price is right

If we were to qualify for Europe, Tony will be hoping the stars stay. But if they want to go, and the price is high enough, he may feel that he has to let them go.

If we let stars go to bring in the fringe players at the first opportunity, we can't progress.

But this is what we’ve been doing throughout the Premier League era. If we really wanted to progress, there’s no way Gross or Gilmour goes in the summer.

The fringe players on loan are playing top level football though? Goodnight and Barco COULD slot in seemlessly?

Not convinced, hence the players we have brought in this season who are nowhere near the first team yet, but they should be up to speed next season?

If Buonanotte and Barco are playing as well as our other players, then the rich boys will be trying to buy them too.

If we always sell our top players at the first time of asking, it'll be tough to challenge for Europe. That's not to say we'll never sell them, but we'll want them to play for us at the top level for a while too.
