Why didn't Bloom explain that Barber had left early for a Karate class and the kitchen had run out of grapes ?

Poor quality food?
Are we sending them up to WSU to get their post-match scran?

No don’t fuckin bring that back. It’s one of the phrases like “out of office” or a pub that does food referring to itself as a “canteen”
It makes my piss boil!

Great attempt at an NSC 'Binfest out of nothing', but I'm afraid I have an 8.15 appointment

Here
The only thing that the large private catering companies (eg Sodexo, Compass et al) are interested in is making money which the do via the centuries old capitalist technique of "sweating the asset". The last thing they're interested in is producing tasty, imaginative, attractively presented and competitively priced meals.

From footy scran, this is stoke city - if they can produce this why do we get actual slop?

It makes no sense from a commercial point of view, also I’m gonna stop eating at the stadium
I think
I’ve stopped this season. I used to want the money to go to the club bottom line but the food is worse, smaller and more expensive. Belgian fries or The Swan for us now.

are the club providing that food or is it from a van outside the ground?

Let's transport ourselves back to the good old days of The Goldstone where, at half time, you could buy.......errrr (consults detailed historical records)......that's it! f*** all!

I buy a steak and ale pie at half time quite regularly now, depending on KO time and whim. Absolutely fine.

If I wanted to go out for a nice lunch, I'd want an hour in a nice room with table service.

But I'm at....the f***ing.....football. Innit.

FFS.
