Very early on, the intention was for away fans to be housed in the north stand.
I was under the impression the new tier would seat around 750 fans, there’s no chance there’s that many in the South tier.
It needs too if there is any hope of it impacting on the atmosphere.
And a twat jumping up and down at the front with a megaphone. I noticed this during the Palace match yesterday on TV. To me, this amazing Selhurst atmosphere is a myth. Yes it's better than ours but that isn't hard.
The bloke behind us is the main cause of that. He just doesn't listen to the police box side and likes the sound of his own voice. It's got so bad, that we are tempted to move.
When I go to the pub I want atmosphere but don’t want a drum. Why is a drum associated with atmosphere? Why not have flashing lights, or the release of distinctive smells, or the sound of crashing waves. The reason we don’t have any of those is because they’re as bloody irritating as a sodding drum.

There is something intrinsically weird about starting a chant at the football. Anyone who feels the urge is likely to have been (or still be) the class joker, whose quips hit the mark only one time out of ten, or some pissed-up arse, or both. These people imagine they have the charisma and leadership of Lawrence of Arabia (as played by Peter O'Toole).

Exactly. I'm in the camp of let's try anything to get an atmosphere going but I have never heard a drum help an atmosphere. They are ALWAYS annoying, normally led by some goblin who just loves the sound of their weird little drum tunes (hello Arsenal) and make me want to garrote the instigator. See also goal music - the most irritating, ludicrous and pointless creation ever at a football match.
The approved plans were for an additional 1750 seats. Around 1000 have already been added so I think you're about right with 750 above the north.
