Why is it this transfer i am anxious and most eager for?! We've had an unprecedented amount of quality signings this summer but I'm most excited about getting a fullback. 
Good theory but I think they are just looking for a break in the air time. I suspect interviews and photos are all done now. The question is, will Fenerbaçhe keep to the embargo?

The most important positions that we need to fill.
I’d say that Velts will be 2nd choice RB and Hinshelwood 4th choice LB once we have new players signed and existing ones back to full fitness.

He’s a full international so that won’t be a problem and they didn’t wait for that for O’Riley or the others?
O'Riley doesn't need a work permit. He's English!

O'Riley doesn't need a work permit as he's English (even though he plays for Denmark).
Certainly won't be any problem getting Ferdi a work permit. He's likely to automatically qualify, he'll have had to have played 60% of Turkey's games in the last two years. If not he'll easily have the 15 points required as Turkey is a band 2 league which is the second highest ranking of leagues under the GBE process.

Anyway, I've also noticed that new signings get a full media spotlight, first interview, training vid etc. Splitting announcements is maybe to allow for the above but surely to allow each some 'spotlight time', right?

Ok, but still needed international clearance as transferring from scotchland
My point being, work permit won’t be an issue for Ferdi as they are always happy to make these announcements “subject to”

You're probably not alone. We have a lot of competition in this team, but we are full-back light.
Withholding the news is a ploy. Wise old Tony has invested in mattress protectors.
Not a criticism, we can't all watch every football game - but did you not watch Ferdi in the Euros? I can't get enough of the WC and Euros (until we're knocked out, at which point I become a moody child).
