To be fair, it's not like my username has "Emmerdale" or "The Beatles" in it. It's a pretty unlikely coincidence as these things go.Please don’t.
Think about it. Thousands of times a day, one has a thought or hears or reads or sees a cultural reference without there being any coincidental mention on TV. The law of averages says this is expected and predictable. However the same law of averages says that just now and then, perhaps every few hundreds of thousands of instances, two of these cultural references will coincide to give you that frisson of excitement. This was one of those rare but inevitable instances.
I was being facetious. I didn't really think it was something ethereal happening. I hope you can believe this. Please don’t.

It only happened to me, as I was watching an episode of 'Caught on Dashcam'. Two trucks had collided, in China I think, and one was transporting a water tank, in which the water splashed up in the air, and all these little animals (I don't know what they were) ended up on the road in the water. Hence the commentator's reference to 'like those Sharknado movies'. I had just read Sid's post, and then looked at the TV having heard the commentary. It was just chance, but still weird.Maybe unlikely that it happened specifically to Eric, but reasonably likely that it happened one of us.
Yeah, that's fair. But still unlikely from Eric's perspective.Maybe unlikely that it happened specifically to Eric, but reasonably likely that it happened one of us.
Yeah, that's fair. But still unlikely from Eric's perspective.
It's fair to say that, for example, I've probably read or replied to plenty of Guiness Boy's posts while drinking a Guiness without giving it a second's thought. Frankly I'd be more surprised if I somehow found out I hadn't.
I may well have done, but after some regrets the morning after I didn't let it bother me.Can you remember drinking some and it leaving a sour taste in your mouth?
Weekend At Ferdi'sI've heard he's caught ebola and died.
His agent's been propping him up with a stick and using him like a ventriloquist doll for the last 5weeks in a desperate bid to squeeze another transfer fee out of him.
Would still be better than Dahoud!I've heard he's caught ebola and died.

Oh we definitely should.
I'll just leave you with this though.
Anyway...
I'm sure the perceived delay in the signing being announced is nothing to worry about.
Just before Kick-off?19:30.
18:45 announced as on the bench19:30.
Yet, strangely compelling...Wow. That's one of the worst 5 minutes of cinematography I have ever wasted 5 minutes on.
Shit!
Sounds good.Paraded in front of the north stand before the Crawley game?
It'll be good to see him in person.Paraded in front of the north stand before the Crawley game?
