that doesnt sound so good. Hope the UK one doesnt go down same path.

Happened with Big Brother after the first couple of series with normal people.

TV obsessed with celebrities' , chase , pointless , masterchef etc etc etc. .... BORING

Real people better

I think there are rumours of a Celebrity UK version, which I'll be ok with. Just as long as they keep it separate from the normal one.

The thought of Mr Blobby struggling to get into Traitor's Tower and struggling with his hood is just wonderful.

If it was genuine celebrities it could be decent.

But if it's your usual Reality TV nonsense bollocks people, nah.

I think it has worked so well in the first couple of series because the contestants have been "ordinary folk". I'm far from convinced that a celeb version would have the same appeal.

Series 1 of Traitors US had quite a few Z list celebs but all the contestants were paranoid and screechy from day one.

Series 2 of Traitors AUS has made a promising start although it doesn't have the atmos of UK & US as set in an old hotel and the presenter is an Aus pretty boy actor who likes to make it all about him.

Nowhere close to Alan Cumming who does the US version and certainly not as good as Claudia. She has been a revelation to me; I spent a lot of time avoiding her to the extent I have videoed Strictly for years so I could fast forward through her screechy witterings. But give her a script and a bit of direction and she is really good.

A Celeb Traitors clearly would not work at well.
I think there are rumours of a Celebrity UK version, which I'll be ok with. Just as long as they keep it separate from the normal one.
A key ingredient of The Traitors is that when they start the competitors know nothing about their fellow competitors. They are not friends, they have not worked together, nobody knows about their background, there are no preconceived ideas, so no reasons to trust or mistrust, like or dislike.

Imagine, say, Nigel Farage walking into Celebrity Traitors. He'd be banished before he'd even opened his first bottle of Australian Shiraz.

A lot of it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense - I’m guessing if you’re actually in there, a certain amount of clarity of thought just goes out the window and you end up blinded to a whole lot.

Harry played a great game no doubt, and I doubt there’ll be another Traitor with such a clever, mischievous streak for some time, but I’m amazed by how little he got suspected, especially towards the end.
I thought Wilf from series 1 played a blinder as a traitor too, He was every bit as smart and manipulative as Harry. But Harry had what Wilf didn't; a totally infatuated, immature airhead who was hanging on everything he said and believed everything he told her. Kudos and respect to Harry who identified early doors he had hooked her and exploited her weakness at every opportunity.

I went to write out a dream line up and then realised there were others on here who would do it better than me.

Et voila.

Good evening everyone, so how are we feeling after that then?

Without spoiler it anything (yet) for those who haven’t watched, that opening sequence on the train was BRUTAL and if that sets the tone then oh boy…

UK traitors is back on? I'll be watching for it to pop up on Peacock soon(ish).

This stupid show has sucked me and the misses in. We've watched both seasons of the US and UK version and just started watching the frigging Australian version. (The NZ version is also on Peacock - but I have to draw the line somewhere...)

There's a third season of the US version starting soon (they had a teaser for it yesterday), but they are doing reality TV "personalities" again. I preferred season 1 with just regular people. Although season 2 did have former speaker of the house of commons, John Bercow, which I loved. But I generally don't like that about the US version. However, Alan Cumming is 100% the best host.
