I reckon it will be very retro. It will be round, it will have the seagull redrawn, thinner, and a bit shit IMO, and flying right to left. The text around the top will read 'BRIGHTON AND HOVE' in a plain uppercase font, and around the bottom in the same font it will be simply 'ALBION'.

That's the sort of seagull I'd like to see on our new badge, not what we’ve got now which looks really shite.

Presumably it would be sorted reasonably soon, as it would need to be incorporated into various elements of the stadium. For fixtures and fittings that would need to be purchased and installed some months in advance of the opening.

The focus group had about 4 people turn up.

Apparently though, they have taken on board the comments on here and have thankfully agreed to made it a lot like the old badge, round with a MEAN looking seagull.
