It's simply going to be a seagull, but it's wings are going to be the stadium arch, and it's body the word 'AMEX'.

Presumably it would be sorted reasonably soon, as it would need to be incorporated into various elements of the stadium. For fixtures and fittings that would need to be purchased and installed some months in advance of the opening.

Like the signs for example

Why do we need to change it and if we do why not the Coat of Arms/Crest of Brighton which served us well for many years and is used by many clubs, not the one of Brighton obviously.

If the club change the badge, I hope the don't try to replicate the old badge. I want us to be looking to the future, not replicating the past. However, I do know that I am in the minority on this.

Because we cannot own the rights to the coat of arms of Brighton and Hove, that's why clubs like Fulham, Burnley and Wigan changed theirs.

I agree with you on this, sadly I think we might both be a little disappointed.

I bought the centenary shirt a few years back mainly because I was so disappointed with our recent badge. All the best logos are simple, Nike, Audio, BMW. The old Liverpool badge in the 70s was totally iconic, now it's so complicated, and quite simply doesn't work. It sits at the top of the centanary stand and looks a mess. In my humble opinion, with 20 years experience as a graphic designer, we should consider simply going for a seagull. No words, no badge, no circle, just a seagull. When it comes to design less is always more.

What's happening to the current badge outside the club shop? What a DISGUSTING waste of the worlds resources! Makes me SICK

I'd probably get fired if I told yah, all will be revealed soon (next coupla weeks) anyway.
I'm sure a brief description wouldn't hurt - is the seagull still fat? What was your verdict?

Just a seagull, that's it. No words or badge or circle or crest or anything else at all. Just a seagull. That will be £1000 for my time and a further £5000 if you want me to draw it for you.
