We could have 11 teams in europe if results went the right way.

decent evening with Italy only winning 1/3 and England winning 3/3

Champions League: 1-5
Europa League: 6, FA Cup winners
Conference League: Carabao Cup winners

In all cases if a team win the domestic cup and finish in a European place in the league, the spots drop down one more place.

You don't get it. If VIlla win the champions league and spurs or Utd win the europa Cup we could have 7 teams in the champions league.

Well obviously that is another scenario but being pessimistic it looks almost certain to be top 7 Europe and very likely 8th getting conference league

It's just so unfathomable. There is an extreme example in which the team who finish 6th fail to make Europe at all

Newcastle United win the League Cup but drop out of the top six (Conference League)
Someone other than Manchester City wins the FA Cup but doesn't make the top six (Europa League)
A huge co-efficient twist and only four Champions League places awarded

However the 9th team in the league could make it to Europe if:

5 Champions League places
6th qualifies for Europa League
7th qualifies for Europa League (Forest/Manchester City win the FA Cup)
8th qualifies for Conference League
9th qualifies for the Conference League (if Chelsea win it and finish 8th)

I think. I could be wrong.

Anyway, it's a bonanza for those of us who love European football next year. And even if folk don't follow other English teams in Europe, it's best to wish them all very well this season. It may help us.

Except Tottenham and Manchester United. Nothing they do can help us as they won't catch us in the league.

FC Köbenhavn fans singing "Is this a library?" and "You're shit and you know you are" at the Bridge tonight is possibly the only time in the last five years I've found either of those songs amusing.

Obviously the Boehly All Stars are still winning, as they very well should with their £1.6 billion squad, but we may at least enjoy somebody taking the piss out of them in the meantime.

Went to a FC Copenhagen game last November and there was a cracking atmosphere, despite their ultras end being closed as punishment for a dust up with Brondby fans the previous week.

Really wanted them to turn over the faux boujee racists, regardless of the coefficient benefits.

And you can get a BAILEY'S at the stadium AND drink it in your seat

I'm not sure it has been mentioned (I've missed it if so) but I just read on the Man City forum that after last night's results, 5th place is now confirmed as a Champions League spot.

Dare to dream...

If confirmed, it would surely be mentioned elsewhere. It seems highly unlikely now that England would finish third tbh, so probably all but confirmed anyway.
