Second half made Walker look very ordinary.
Love him. But doesn’t seem as confident going 1v1 running at a defender this season. Quite a few times we switched the ball to him in 1v1 situations and rather than get at Walker he checked back which is frustrating as for me it’s one of the things he’s best at! Still, huge part in the first goal and did well overall. Just an observation!

Had Walker on toast today. Just needs to find that final moment of quality again, but work-rate, skill, pace… it’s all there. One of the first on the team sheet
When you're up against one of the fastest players in the league, and a team who keeps the ball, it makes sense to be more cautious on when to attack Vs keep possession.
I honestly think he's in the top 5 wingers in the league. We're so lucky to have him during his prime

Deadly down the left, deft crosses into the box, and more confident this year dribbling into the middle… always a threat. Love him

Those long balls over his shoulder that he just takes on his toe without breaking his stride...
Wasn't getting much out of walker in the first half but with more support from Pedro in the second absolutely ran him ragged. Walker was ambling round with a thousand yard stare in one 10 minute period in the second half. Didn't know whether he was coming or going.
Such a gifted footballer. Traps difficult balls on a pinhead and he’s away, giving fullbacks no time to make life difficult for him with the ball.

Amazes me how many passes/crosses he plays with the outside of his foot. Absolute class.
It certainly is an impressive real. We won't be buying young talent with a real to match that, as they won't have played enough games, but more than a few skills would be nice.

Agreed. We're very lucky to have him, he's worth the entrance fee alone. One day we'll have to look back on how lucky we were, so let's enjoy him while we can.
