Seagulls Ska aside, what's your favourite embarassing/novelty record that you actually like and play regularly, even though you wouldn't admit it to many people (except to the 100s of people who log onto NSC...)

Mine is...

Crazy Horses by The Osmonds

I love it!!!!

When I went home to my mum's a Christmas she made me pack up loads of old books/tapes/etc and take 'em home. Fair enough really, cos I do own my own house now!

Anyway, I found my entire collection of 7" singles. They are:

The Boys in the old Brighton Blue
"Simon Says" by the 1910 Fruitgum Co (the first record I ever bought!)

And

John Kettley is a Weatherman. A prize goes to the first poster to remember who recorded this mighty contribution to pop.

No way!!! What's embarrassing about that? It's a bloody great record. Oh well, everyone to their own.:nono:

I still think it is great but everyone hated Gary Numan at my school apart from me

Mmmm Mark McGammons meat:ohmy:

I always remember that song from watching Man City play at Oldham when it was in the charts, and the whole of the City end singing "John Kettley is a City fan"

Best Years Of Our Lives by Modern Romance. A brilliant record to play at a party, but the band were always considered to be a bit wally.
