Its just to hard, there are so many players I have seen not even mentioned.....Ben Roberts, Ian Chapman, Eric Young, Danny Wilson, Sergi Gotsmanov, Dean Saunders, Andy Ricthie, Clive Walker, Tony Grealish.....dont think I have seen any of these mentioned and im not sure they would even make the bench in my own side....Its a head f~~k trying to pick a side.....Out of the current squad maybe in a few years Dunk, Lua Lua and Mackail-Smith might get a look in as well.

You really don't like Wardy do you :lolol:

He said that he has seen. He many never have seen Wardy play.

I didnt see Wardy (apart from REMF/Hart Testimonial) but I did see Case and Foster 2nd time round.

I never got to see Wardy play myself but I think he is a top man, had the pleasure of getting him from the Airport on his last trip down then spending the morning with him and his wife, from what I have seen on Youtube his finishing was unreal.

Oh, seen him at REMF mind you.

Same here and yes have to agree with that.

If I was picking the BEST 11 he would be in no question as his record speaks for itself, but if it was the best I had SEEN then he wouldnt get in.

I would of loved to have gone to the Goldstone albeit I would of probably not remembered it but as I come from a family full of QPR supporters that was virtually impossible.

Lest we forget Paul McShane, versatile player, POTS, and THAT goal.

I think I'd at least have him on the bench.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, what was Mike Ring like as a player?

MIKE RING

Born: Brighton d.o.b: 13 February 1961

Position: Winger

Brighton 81-84 5 apps 0 goals
Greenock Morton (on loan) 81-82 4apps 0 goals
Ballymena United (N. Ireland) 83-84
Hull City 84-86 24 apps 2 goals
Bolton Wanderers (on loan) 85-86 3 apps 0 goals
Aldershot 86-89 79 apps 16 goals
to Lewes

Totals 115 apps 18 goals

If only Wardy could play in all 11 positions.....

Any serious responses?

I don't think it has changed:

Kuipers
Stevens Foster Lawrenson Gatting
Wilson Case O'Sullivan
Robinson Ward Zamora

Subs:

Penney
Horton
Williams
Ryan
Moseley

Best for the Albion

E Young was a better player than Foster, Gregory was a better player than Gary Stevens, but I am counting on preformances for the Albion.

CMS looks promising and its Wardy's position under threat. Just 98 goals to go.

I have a picture of me somewhere with Michael Ring and Michael Robinson, years ago my dad used to do the Seaguil Lottery and every now and then would get invited to a pub in Brighton somewhere where 2 players used to turn up and sign autographs!! blooming nice chaps if I rememeber right.

That's a strong looking side. On a side note Perseus we are both 100% on match threads this season. Who has the honour tomorrow night?
