I find myself saying "cool" a lot, especially when typing. I think I am far too old to use it. I also say "aye" a lot, an affliction I got from moving up here.

I hate saying both.

Your turn NSC.

I do say 'aye' a lot. I have obviously spent too much time with my Scottish contingents.

I don't like myself when I say 'awesome'. I make a concerted effort noto, but sometimes it slips out.

I am quite good at mixing two words together, unintentionally, something like 'bit little' - becoming 'bittle'. It annoys me.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I've had a recent rebirth of "what, and i don't/didn't/never/haven't?" to follow almost anything anyone says to me.
"I'm feeling a bit rough this morning."
"What, and i don't?"
"I had the squits last night."
"What, and i didn't?"

And i find myself annoyingly saying "cool" to people on the phone to me at work who soud either black or young. I'm trying to fit in, but in 1982, where most people don't live any more.

I don't like people who say something isn't like rocket science.

instead of i'm finished. When did that stupid americanism creep into the english language!

'OK squire'
'Cheers squire'

I am NOT a chirpy, rosey-cheeked 1950's stableboy, so WHY I insist on calling friends and barely known aquaintances 'squire' both verbally and online, I honestly have no idea. But I just can't seem to STOP it.
