I love them.

Things like:

SUPREMO; as in Albion SUPREMO, Russell Slade
BUSTLING; used to desciibe a big, shit centre forward like John Fashanu
GAFFER; is your boss "the gaffer"? Thought not.

There have got to be others. What's your favourite?

Lardy Jocko Clown used to be a football-only phrase, until Gordon 'cyclops' Brown moved into number 10.

We used to call our boss "Gaffer" all the time. Was back in the 80s though.

Clash is a word used rarely anywhere else too.
"Clash of Heads"
"The big Clash" refering to a match, for example, between the Titans of Maccelsfield against their deadly local rivals, and last seasons, League 1 Heavywieghts Crewe

Nestling in green nowhere
Not a word but a phrase only used in Andy Gray Land

"Made himself large" in reference to a goalkeeper...masturbating I presume.

Good thread.

CRACK - as in "crack Hungarian outfit Honved" (usually means obscure foreign team we know naff-all about).
MAZY - "he went on a mazy run". Is that ever used in anything other than a football context ? I don't think so.

APLOMB

....and the striker finished with aplomb

Don't think I have heard that word outside of football commentating
