Spoke to someone today whose son lives in Peterborough. Apparently there is no snow there yet but apparently its due. Therefore if they were going to travel the day before, as some clubs do, there wont be a problem getting here. So I guess its just down to pitch conditions and crowd safety..

I dont think the pitch will be frozen as I went snowball fighting today in the park and under the snow the ground was quite slippy...

So if they can clear the snow on the pitch and in the stands it could be on...

I wont mind volunteering to clear the snow if the game can go ahead. Put me down for it...:thumbsup:

Council health and safety have nothing to do with the decision making process.


I would think that the council have more authority than anybody to decide it is not safe for supporters although football is totally governed by the police and what they want or dont want to do.


We always had cup replays the week after the first match until the police decided we couldnt because of their overtime rosters etc.
