Given Gordon is now being widely hailed as the saviour of the world

'Has the PM saved the world? the British government went to the heart of the problem and moved to address it with stunning speed' - Paul Krugman Nobel prize winner for economics.

, a supreme politician and European statesman. With this will come a level of Dick Knight style untouchability. Do you think you will ever see another tory government in your lifetime?

Brilliant, I had a bet with my missus how long it would take before you (Bushy) responded.

Is it true you have Gordon Brown tattooed on your arm?

Who won the bet?

I kind of did, I said something like I bet Bushy will be the first response within about 30 seconds. He was first but took a whole 4 minutes. Maybe the idea of a new-socialist utopia is starting to chill even Bushy out :lol::lol:

reminds me of michael moore at the republican conference 4 years ago , republicans chanting four more years , moore chanting two more weeks, well we all know what happened dont we ? :lolol:

We certainly do know what happened to four more years of George 'Potatoe' Bush power. The republicans will be kicked right out of office in a few weeks time.

Yes, in 2010. Gordon Brown-nose to the Rich will be leading it, as Tory Bliar did for the previous thirteen years

Of course there will be another Tory government, but I have a feeling that Brown's 2010 will be Major's 1992 (ie he will scrape in by the skin of his teeth and then lead a weak government for 5 more years before being turfed out properly).

It would have been better for the Tories to lose to Kinnock in 1992, and I suspect they would have been back in '97. Perhaps Labour strategists would see a similar upside to a narrow defeat in 2010.

Of course I will see a Tory government in my lifetime; it may even occur at the next general election.

Don't care what government we have as long as we get that sweaty, porridge scoffing stroke victim out of Downing Street I'm happy.
