when Ive been watching the news on the BBC I keep hearing the autocue reader refering to "the prophet mohammed".

Not "The Muslim prohet mohammed" or "mohammed who muslims beleive to be a prophet" or "the socalled or alleged prophet".

Well he aint my bloody prophet.

I would think that Christians would consider this blasphemy, I myself as an atheist find it offensive since the autocue reader just refer to jesus. not Jesus son of god, jesus the mesiah or Jesus Christ.


Seeing I got ejected from my first RE lesson at school after explaining my "faith" to the teacher I may be a bit sensative.

My teacher was a bloke hence my physical ejection. Wasn't allowed back in for a month after that and was sent to various "Theological" debates with the headmaster.

Although he was trying to push the value of learning while I was hyjacking the conversation with arguemants about freedom of thought and why was there no Humanist/Athiest classes.

I made the mistake in the third year at school of telling my RE teacher that I didn't see the point in doing her class or homework as I didn't believe in God. My punishment was to copy out pages from the bible, I was hacked off at the time but did as she asked, on reflection that was religious intolerence and she was not respecting my beliefs. Can you imagine the fuss if it had been today and she had done the same to a child who declared that they were Islamic/Jewish/Hindu or any other faith.
