Tommy Elphick is another signing and we have the benefit of knowing what he's about!

Gus couldn't wait to drop Elphick for Greer a couple of season's ago when we were top of the league. I'd be amazed if Tommy plays any part in our league campaign this season. He will soon be sold onto, Orient or somewhere like that. Shame though.

Hoskins is a goal machine when fit
I think he will score goals whatever level as he has a great eye for goal as per this footage from his Rotherham days
I hope he does stay fit and play for us again as he is an entertainer scoring goals from all angles and distances something we are missing

Agree with this and hopefully his injury problems have been sorted in the summer - just needs to get his relationship with Gus sorted now!!

I read it as a case of Gus asking him if he wanted to go out on loan to play some games rather than him asking Gus if he could. This would then puts a slightly diferent light on it, if that was the case.
