I hate Wigan. The home game last year at the point where we were four down (ah memories) my friend, every where is silent, and asks me why Rami Shabann was wearing red, i don't know why but i completely lost it with him and a steward to calm down or go. On reflection rather than hating my friend i hate Wigan. Thank you for your time.

There's nothing to hate.
It's great when an unfashionable club is doing so well in the Prem.
Long may it continue.

Our last but one home game at the Goldstone was against them and they were already up,and if I remember rightly they were all joining in the Belotti-Archer hate songs and I think we also got a point out of it and Dave Whelan came up to the South Stand as the game finished and wished us all the best.

So I for one are more than pleased for them and who knows in a few years time we could be like them if we follow there example.

It is good to see a team breaking up the Monopoly of the so called big 3 for a change. Even if their season does fall apart soon.

As a former resident and also one time husband of a Wigan girl (but I won't hold that against them) they have been my second team for a long time I am really chuffed for them and their fans.

Good luck to them. I've drunk many a pint of Tetleys there and there are a lot worse places.

And the town was home to Northern Soul in the 1970s.

Fair play to them. Paul Jewell has been given the backing of his chairman and has spent wisely. The smirk on my face comes from the 'with all due respect, we should be beating teams like Wigan' attitude, and everyone expecting an easy three points off them.

In the last few seasons Wigan are the only team that really hammered us. They have gone about it the right way building up a basis of a side and I am not surprised they are doing well. I expected Sunderland to get relegated but not Wigan.

When was the last time a smaller unfashionable club won the League. Ipswich in the early sixties? QPR and Watford came second? And Forest did but they were not really an small unfashionable club then.

Wigan is great. It gives the smaller clubs a sporting chance.

I wish them well, they don't look arrogant with it.
Although I did hear the Wigan fans chanting "EASY, EASY" etc. on MOTD, wankers.

How awful. I heard Brighton fans doing it at Selhurst. Pot, kettle, black
