Who's up and Why??

Yeah we've propped her cot up on books and it does seem to have helped, this is the second cold she's had now, but they do say it's better to have them in the 1st year so they build up there immune system. We just feel a bit helpless as there isn't a great deal you can do for them is there, it's not like you can tell her to blow her nose !

No there isn't a lot you can do, just keep them well topped up with liquids (formula or breastmilk or whatever you're doing) as they dehydrate quickly. You can get those nose sucker-out things, they are pretty good, but our son didn't like it and screamed blue murder! The hard part was clearing out his nose so he could feed properly - I remember struggling to feed him but once he was fed he'd seem better....
