another player who was SUPERB against us, though not necessarily a great player, was MATT HOLLAND when he played for ipswich

he played in central defence that game and utterly OWNED our front line(which to be fair did contain graham barrett)

i'd go with best performance, but it is a fairly ruleless thread

obviously for the YOUNGER generation its gonna really be a player from our championship seasons, as we've only really seen SHIT players

That was the game on or soon after 9/11 wasn't it. I remember Wicks backing off and virtually letting Svensson score. It was a strange atmosphere that evening.
