kuipers
el abd
fraser

think those three are nailed on, not so sure about any of the others. you would have expected chamberlain and fogden to have made a breakthrough by now if they were good enough, mcfaul has just looked like a waste of time, imagine we will only keep one of sullivan or winterton

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
John Sullivan (goalkeeper),
Adam El-Abd (defender),
Sam Rents (defender),
Adam Hinshelwood (defender),
Guy Butters (defender),
Sonny Cobbs(defender),
Tommy Fraser (midfielder)

I think it could be quite a big clearout this season. Way too many players that are not and nevr will be considered good enough to take the place of a 1st teamer.

If it was up to me...

Michel Kuipers (goalkeeper),
John Sullivan (goalkeeper),
Chris Winterton (goalkeeper),
Kerry Mayo (defender),
Adam El-Abd (defender),
Guy Butters (defender),
Wes Fogden (defender),
Sonny Cobbs(defender),
Scott Chamberlain (midfielder),
Lloyd Skinner (midfielder),
Tommy Fraser (midfielder),
Paul Reid (midfielder),
Sam Gargan (striker).

I have left the youth players in because I'm not in a position to accurately judge them.

I would go for Kuipers, Sullivan, Rents, Hinsh, Fraser, McFaul and El-Abd...I can't honestly say for the rest of the younger players as I haven't seen enough of them to formulate a valid opinion. I would add that I haven't seen anything of Sullivan or McFaul either but unless we bring in another good keeper it would be stupid to get rid of him and in the case of the Irish feller he is young and there must be enough about him or we probably wouldn't have signed him in the first place.

Horam
1 Year contract or more to
Kuipers
El Abd
Fraser
Cobbs

6 month contract to prove their worth/fitness
HInshlewood
Reid
Chaimberlain
Mayo
Butters (if we dont go up)

Why should Tank prove his worth, everyone knows there isnt a better reader of the game at the back, his experience is worth another year

New deals....Rents, Fraser, El Abd.

Release..... Kuipers, Mayo, Hinshelwood, Butters, Loft, Hart, Reid.

I cant comment on the rest of them because i've either seen very little, or nothing of them.

if butters did not post on here, most would probably not even have thought about keeping him on as a coach

depends what happens with regards to hinshlewood and if we dont sell, but i would say that three centrebacks are ahead of him in lynch, elphick and el abd, not to mention hinshlewood should be get fit. plus i think its pretty much a given that pearson will get a contract

FDM . Fraser . Kebab . Tank. all 1 year extension. Cobbs & Fogden. 3 month contract. Sorry but all the rest*
Big Guy will transit over to a coaching role over the course of the 08/09 season.
*If we dont get promoted Rents & Gargan to be given the same deal as Cobbs & Fogden to prove they are worth extending their deals any further.

The poll is a bit misleading on the youth players
To be far its a pointless poll really. It would have been better without the youth players. I mean Skinner and Winterton getting only 20%, so what people are saying you wouldn't give these new contracts?

Why? Have you seen them play. One or two may have seen enough of them to pass judgement, but I doubt if the 80% who voted against them have ever seen them play.

Obviously, you can understand people being against Winterton and wanting him out. After all he may challenge our Lord Kuipers, and we can't have that:p

As has been said by others I have nopt seen enough of the youth players like Winterton and Skinner etc so have not voted one way or the other.

Kuipers unless Wilkins has another more consistent keeper that he can sign.
El Abd definitely fairly long term
Fraser
Butters as player/ reserve team coach/manager.

Hart Mayo Reid Hinshlewood short term till Chritmas and then make a final decision before January window.

It would appear that Wilkins and his team do not have much confidence in Rents and Sullivan so I would release Rents along with Loft and give them the oportunity to go Non League (Conference).

Dependant on the result tonight ie if we do not win I would play Sullivan until the end of the season to get a better assesment of whether he can step up to league standard from what I have seen at reserve games I do not think that he will. If not release him.

Return Mc Faul and Martot.

Try to sign Richards and Raccon, not much chance with him though.
