I put Bas as at least he bought a smile to everyone however it really has to be Bertin

If Bertin stays then he will be our best signing in YEARS. However for this season taken in isolation, the most important was Whing, by miles and miles. Just go and look at our record with him in the team.

Go on...

Apply our average form from the rest of the season, to the games when he was playing, and we would have finished in the bottom two.

Whing by a country mile. As Hans said look at our results while he was in the side...

Bertin for me has lost a bit of "edge" maybe because he is being tapped up/touted around by his agent.

nice list , some shockers in there

Bowditch could of been but plumped for Bertin.

If we had saved wages etc on all of those we prob could of got 2 / 3 quality (ish) players in

Flinders, kept us in this division with some wonder saves in the few games that we did manage to win January on

the thing about whing was , his distribution was absolutely shocking , worse than Mayo's which seems to be forgotten.
We did seem more solid with him in there but remember Hinsh was in there to.

Bertin, I would say, though his influence diminished towards the end of the season. Flinders, perhaps, given how bad we thought he was when he joined. Bas, possibly, for his cult-hero value.
