Some of Flinders saves kept Brighton up as much as bas's goals.

Who would have thought a Palace player keeping Brighton up.

f***, I barely even remember Keith Lowe. Was he the Wolves player who never got a game?
That's the one. Went on loan to Cheltenham later. Did he play last Saturday ?

How on EARTH is Bertin winning? He's had about 2 good games, cannot pass the ball forwards or shoot.

Savage's goals have kept us up, so he's been the most important signing.

Revell deserves a mention for many solid displays, hard work and goals all season long.

Well, not so much the goals bit, but he's been fairly consistent in his displays all season.

For 8k, you can't argue

He tidied up and strenghtened the midfield in a way we were screaming out for. He was head and shoulders above the rest of the team, quality-wise.

His passing was neat, tidy and usually simple - win the ball and give it to Hammond / Cox / Robinson. His shooting was non-existent because he wasn't there to do that job, therefore rarely got into position to be able to do so. He was always the one who stayed back at corners. I don't recall too many people giving Butters or Lynch the same criticism about shooting, and they got forward more than Bertin.

Bertin & Whing were good players who brought skill to the team but Savage got us points and made us laugh. His moonwalking cheered us up no end.

Andy Whing, the defence looked solid when he arrived, we rarely looked like conceding...how often can that have been said of an Albion team, far poorer once he had gone back to Cov.

I don't deny that some of the others have been good, some show excellent potential, but Keith Lowe...we would have been better trying to sign Arthur Lowe...don't panic Captain Mainwaring.

Some of those I have difficulty in remembering. Just how much did we spend on most of that lot of old tosh?
