I think people's sense of humour says a lot about.

So who are your favourite comedians?

Mine would be Ricky Gervais, Jack Dee, Harry Hill, Rich Hall, Rob Brydon, Paul Merton and Jimmy Carr.

COOGAN and Armando Ianucci as well but less well known for their stand-up...

Jack Dee, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle and Rhys Darby is absolutely BRILLIANT.

I used to really like Ricky Gervais...but I think the limelight has gone to his head.

And I think Al Murray is an absolute c**t.

I love stand-up though, we used to have a paramount comedy store come to our uni once a month, £2 to get in, and subsidised beer on tap..was a uni bar after all and then a laugh-a-minute !!

Peter Kay fucks me off.
He's done two tours I think? The second one, half the country has seen. It's GENIUS. Absolutely BRILLIANT comedy. But he's released the same thing THREE times on DVD. What's all that about?

Write some more jokes, rather than your shoddy C4 sitcoms and releasing the same old stuff!

Eddie Izzard is a legend and Billy Connolly was amazing in his day (albeit a long time ago).

I've seen a couple of Ricky Gervais stand up's on DVD. I don't rate him at all. He's a great sitcom writer and actor, but for me his stand up is way short of his other work. The best thing about the stand up DVD's I saw were the extras with Karl Pilkington where Ricky Gervais was just being himself.

I have seen Ed Byrne live and he was bloody hilarious, others I haven't seen but like are Darragh O'Brien, Jo Brand and Jimmy Carr.
