Obese, and have been for years. It's called beer.

I have to calculate BMI's at work, and there is one fundamental issue. If someone is very fit, and muscular, their BMI will be high. also if they have been a ballet dancer for example, they can be morbidly underweight. It's all swings and roundabouts.

I don't have an ounce of fat on me and its telling me i'm a chunky lard pants.........
It doesn't take into account what you do for a living, someone pushing buttons all day is going to be completely different build to, lets say a scaffolder.

I'm currently trying to put on weight which also confuses these websites when it asks for my target weight goals.

Though at 6ft 4 (or 5, im not sure), the AMOUNT of grub I would have to eat to actively put on weight is mind-blowing and I eat A LOT.


Anyway, BMI is 23 and I'm most likely to be from IRAQ.

This is why crude indicators such as BMI are a load of bullshit.

I'm BMI 22 which is good, but it doesn't take into account body type or give any indication of CV fitness. I don't put on weight that easy as I'm tall and thin, I think the most I've ever been is BMI 24, but shit like this can lure you into a false sense of security.

If I didn't look after myself I'd be at risk of high cholesterol because I can pretty much eat shit all the time and not put on much weight so it isn't obvious that I'm unhealthy, also my natural CV fitness is shocking if I don't train, but because I don't look fat things like this tell me I'm ok.

That body fat thing is an absolute guess as well
