What's Your favourite meat for a roast ?

Roast chicken for me. Not a mad fan of Lamb or pork. Or if a Veggie what do You go for ?

Beef with horseradish sauce for me -

They can all be class when done well. Beef would have to be rare and served with a good horseradish. Lamb can be good if it's not too fatty. I love a bit of pork, must be served with creamed leeks. Chicken can be great though (bread sauce).

Agreed, Mint Sauce, Apple Sauce,Parsley Sauce, Horseradish Sauce and Bread Sauce...... now which one adds almost nothing ?

Maybe we just haven't tasted decent homemade bread sauce? I wouldn't even know how to make it - but I guess if you added onion and black pepper it might be better than the packet shit I've tasted before x

Lamb for me, but i found a recipe for boxing day that was gammon on the bone with a honey, mustard, spicey glaze with cloves studded in the skin, it was delicious and so we have that on sunday sometimes.

Like chicken, lamb or pork equally (but not at the same time). Will eat beef but it is my least preferred option.
