Last game of the season, 2006? against Stoke. Left sometime in the first half. I didn’t miss many games that season, but that day was a bank holiday weekend and I had much better places to be. As it turned out I got to Preston park station and ended up having to wait ages for a train.

More recently, took my then two year old daughter to a game, v Preston at the Amex. 10 mins in and she’d had enough and we left. To be fair she’d been ill, and I shouldn’t have taken her in the first place.

I very nearly left brackley at home to Harrogate about 18 months ago after three minutes. My 9 year old son had broken a finger the day before so arm in sling and we had one of my 7 year old daughters with us. It was a grim day with sleet in the air. We were behind one of the goals and an early shot fizzed wide. My son jumped out of the way and smacked his hand on someone else and the shot hit my daughter on the head and her hat came off. Both were in lots of pain and I was freezing. We very very nearly left at 3.03 with both kids in tears due to pain. What fun. Went for some chips and they calmed down.

Top story. We should have another thread for recitations like these!

At about 65 min, couple of seasons ago, when those oh so comical train drivers decided that the last train home was leaving Famer in about 10 minures. No more trains at all that night, said the message that flasged up on the screens and over the tannoy
I was absolutely fuming, but felt I had no choice but to leave.
I know, bad fan - shoul;d have taken the 4-hr walk home on a freezing winter's night

Funny enough, at Southampton. 4-0 down, saints penalty given about 2 yards outside the box, Tanno sent off for insinuating cheating. I think that's the only time I've done it.

4-0 down? We lost that game 3-0. Which, coincidentally, was the scoreline when i left the stadium against Bournemouth last season.

Half-time at Withdean. Three bad home games in a row and it was bucketing it down in the South Stand. Dad had had enough and took us home!

About half an hour into the 5-1 home defeat against Stoke at Withdean. We had friends down for the weekend. We’d already been relegated and I didn’t particularly fancy it all day. After the third went it in I thought **** it and went home to see our mates.

I believe pornomagboy once left a game at half time. Strangely, that was also against Leicester.

I think I left Bhaaaadiff at home earliest

last season. I considered it at half time, but foolishly stayed until around 75m. . . I felt bad, but the writing was on the wall and there was already thousands on the platform!

How was I supposed to know? I left early.

First game I ever saw was in 1965..Huddersfield vs Newcastle....it was so cold, raining, sleeting and the wind was howling off the Pennines.

We got to our place to stand and according to my dad I started to cry, and he said shall we go and I sobbed yes!

So we actually left before kick off.

So there

Ha ha ha

10 mins before kick off 3 years ago.

Got a phone call to say my mother had died suddenly before the match had started, so suddenly the game didn't seem relevant.
