Not to sure about the best way to tell my parents that i fancy men and have done for the last 5 years. i have considered taking them out for dinner and doing it then but cant find the courage and confindence to do so.

Your parents probably know anyway. They probably feel as nervous as you to bring it up. When it is out in the open you will all feel more relaxed and probably have a laugh about it. Us Parents ain't a bad bunch deep down. Unless of course they are bigots.
