I took it upon myself to finish my husbands half arsed furniture building that has been going on all week. Had the wardrobe and drawers put together and in their correct places within an hour. Not sure what all his fuss was about really. Missing some handles but he can get those tomorrow.

Now to dismantle his empty bottle collection.

TRying to fix a PC that some moron has been downloading porn onto with no AV. Various other helpdesk type tasks, nothing clever.

Well done that girl!! You've inspired me to take my husbands collection of unread motorsport magazines to the tip, all several hundred of them, I'm sure he'll be well pleased I tidied them up!!

Heh. My husband has a collection of weird and supposedly wonderful beer bottles. Stretching back to his university days. Every so often he pulls one out and tells me "This is from Garys BBQ when we were 19" "This is from Lukes 21st birthday party" Yeah, that's great. He has them all wrapped up in what is going to be the new baby nursery, along with boxes and boxes of comic books. A few weeks ago I told him it's the comic books or the glass bottles, one has to go or be at least cut down. He has moved the comic books so I am assuming he no longer wants this bottles and they can go for recycling.

Feeling very productive this afternoon. Going to pick up every single toy that is on the play room floor and bin bag that as well. I introduced a new rule a few weeks ago that anything on the floor despite my telling them to tidy up goes in the bin. I have several bin bags full of junk in the garage. I won't really throw it away but I am hoping once the play room is empty of all toys they will have learnt their lesson.

I've never really nested with any of the others, I think I am making up for it now and starting early this time.

I hate painting but that is next on my list for my husband. Anastasia was born and her nursery wasn't even started thanks to his procrastination so I'm starting on it early this time in the hope that in 16 weeks he can do something!

Why do you need to go up a ladder to paint the bathroom downstairs? What sort of crazy house do you live in ?
And is Zef as small in real life as he is in those pictures of him in overalls holding a giant calculator?

We're giraffes and our house is tall...so there!!

(I was painting the ceiling of the loo!!)

It is a good feeling to get stuff done though, as you know full well it isn't much possible in the first few months...

i've been so active this morning that i need tea, an anzac biscuit and a little rest on NSC.

already been to lewes to leave one car and REMF leaflets to be picked up later. then onto hospital in haywards heath for spooky foot treatment that involves an injection of weird stuff in it and 20 minutes with a tourniquet tied onto it. afterwards to brighton to return hire car, back to lewes to pick up our car and deliver REMF leaflets to Uncle Spielberg's lair. bought food in waitrose, paper in smiths and then across the road to where I NEEDED to buy a very fetching little denim waistcoat with silver buttons on it. home to share sandwich with dog - he puked it up but took it more slowly on his return visit (ewww)- and now i'm just chilling out with buggerall to do but type very slowly and armlessly before going to take puking dawg for walk on the downs later.
