When was that ELS? I endured several years in Tranmere and then New Ferry between 75 and 87..If you heven't already you should read Awaydays by Kevin Samson...Can't remember whether we have discussed that in the past.

Ford, Woodchurch and Nocturum mentioned in that marvellous read..although not referenced in the film there are several scenes shot in ther North End and Eastham areas.
