A rusty one of those. Very quickly replaced by an MG Midget with a stage two tuned engine.

RED Ford Fiesta - plate: AAA505R

I sold it to my brother for £300 and two weeks later the engine blew up.

Replaced it with a BLUE Ford Fiesta which was so rusty that the indicator lights kepts popping out of the sockets.

I remember those top quality vehicles and when you turned up on the drive in the BLUE Fiesta and the lights popped out

My first car was a 5 door Citroen Saxo 1.1. It caused me nothing but trouble, in the 2 years I owned it the rear brake drums needed replacing, the exhaust fell off, someone football fan in Bristol smashed in the rear window, the cat blew up and just before I wanted to sell it the warning light of doom came on and I had to pay £50 to get a mechanic to plug in his computer and tell me there was nothing wrong.

I was glad to see it go.

A teal blue 1972 MG Midget 1275 CC (had a weber carb fitted) with round wheel arches. It was rusty and leaked like a sieve at the merest hint of rain, but I loved it!
