Goldstone - north west terrace

Goldstone West Stand, on tippy toes, with my dad, in about 1972 (I think). Wrote a match report for a Radio Brighton competition. Didn't win, sadly. Neither did the Albion - think it was 2-2 v Northampton Town. Fred Binney scored, if memory serves.

goldstone south stand i am guessing - i was only 1 and a half at the time so god knows where abouts it was

and surely the brian moore stand didn't exist at the priestfield when we went there? i thought it only became it once they had knocked down the terrace, the name of which i cannot remember

although i am PROUD to say i stood on that terrace the only TWO times it was open for an albion home game

Chicken Run, when I was about 4 or 5, sneaked under the corrugated fence. No idea who we played or who turned out for us or the score.

North Stand at the Goldstone, right behind the goal, standing on a milk crate. Marvellous scenes - and a cracking atmosphere for an eight-year-old!!

My first game was the 3-3 home draw against Liverpool in First Division, 1981 - what a fabulous match that was. Hooked for life after that
