Had to take it back twice. The first one was warped and the second one had a big chunk taken out of the side. Got there in the end though and was worth the wait

Jethro Tull - 'Aqualung', I guess I must have got it in early 1972. I do remember that for the previous Christmas I'd been given my first LP which was T. Rex's 'Electric Warrior'. This was given to me by an extremely well-meaning but out-of-touch aunt. I USED to like T.Rex but I'd gone off them as Bolan had 'sold out'.

I am in good company then - that was my first too, I would have been 10 at the time. I must confess that I think I only bought it cos my brother wanted it (and I later sold it to him). Have since bought it again at least 3 times.
