Heres a few tips I've learned which have made me an excellent judge of whether someone is boyfriend material:

1. Always be on time, if not pick your excuse carefully - "I was getting my bedsheets ready for when I pork you later" is not acceptable
2. Never forget her birthday - this is truly devastating to the forgetee, not to mention the hell the forgeter will receive for the months to come
3. Thinking up something spur of the moment to do is always fun
4. Tricky one this - some girls like to go to the pub and shoot the breeze (I DO!!) some girls don't - if the pub is something you do with your mates, then find a girl who doesn't like the pub
