It seems to be the current trend to slag off NSC. It's not lairy enough, it's too lairy, there are too many smug up their own arse posters, boring posters, cliques, lack of the old NSC spark or any number of putdowns.

I still find it an interesting place, if sometimes a little slow recently, with a great cross-section of opinion and humour. One thing it has always been though is a source of all sorts of useless knowledge that I doubt I would have picked up elsewhere.

Amongst many things I now know what a chav is, that a tomato is a vegetable and also a fruit, that Gary Hart nearly went to Bristol City for £500,000.00  ;) and that if I want to be COOL that I need to be able to SWEAR a bit and accentuate my WORDS by using capitals, hopefully in the right places :clap2:

What have you got from or learnt from this pub of websites??

I've learnt what an avatar is
I've learnt that NSC is very addictive!
I've also learnt that despite NSCers best attempts to behave like uneducated, ill mannered buffoons...they are in fact and intelligent friendly bunch of people......

The irrevererent banter that I miss since I stopped working in advertising.

New friends that aren't school-gate mums.

An insight into other people's lives, the world we live in and the team we support.

Flirting opportunities.

Stupid jokes.
