What funeral music would you like - and why?

The funeral of Manchester United's/Watford's Jimmy Davis (RIP) opened with Coolio's Gangsta's paradise and ended with - gulp - Elvis vs JXL, but what would YOU have?

I want U2's MLK, final track on Unfortgetable Fire, because it's sombre and haunting (not because I think I'm ML King).

And then, as the curtains draw and the coffin disappears, I want Take That's Relight My Fire really, really loud - because no one there would f***ing forget it.

Coming into the church I would have adagio for strings William Orbit mix and as the curtains go back "Sussex by the Sea!!" I went to someone,s service and when the curtains went back they played "Forever blowing bubbles!" as he was West Ham fan

Not sure yet - if I decide to go for the big burn then it would have to be 'Firestarter' or 'Too Hot' by Coolio.

If I go for the burial option, I quite fancy 'Going Undergound' by The Jam as my farewell tune.

I was at my great Aunt's funeral earlier this week and she had 'My Way' by Frank Sinatra.

Me - no bloody idea - hate the thought of death.

Another one might be "Don't look back in anger, just fade away"

I've heard J Giles Band's Centrefold suggested. Would be bloody funny.

The Boys in the Old Brighton Blue - coming in.

The Goldstone Rap (as performed by a 90 year old Krispies) - going out.

And I'd also like the "Posh Spice is a slapper..." song somewhere spontaneously in the middle of the service in homage to my wearer.

Ace of Spades, because, when I think about it, that song has been in my all time top ten ever since it came out, still love it completely.

and

Sussex by the sea, any version, big band, or a sung version, or even a recording from the Albion v Real Madrid European Cup Final from 2045 when Albion win with 2 goals by Bobby Zamora Junior and 1 from Johnny Byrnes' grandson on his debut!
