Sympathy for the Devil. No other reason than it is my favourite song.

I know I am not a Roman catholic. but I quite like the idea of a Requiem mass. Let the buggers suffer!!!

Come in To Barber's Addagio for Strings

The Lords is My Shepherd from John Rutter's Requiem ( the most beautiful rendition of the Psalm 23)

La Crimosa from Mozart's Requiem ( Just sublime)

Le Cantique de Jean Racine by faure (fabulous piece of music)

All sung by my Choir, The Shoreham Oratrio Chior, St Mary De Haura.

Go out to Amen the last movement from Handel's Messiah

Followed by Sussex By The Sea as you all walk out and head off to my two day wake at the Dorset Arms in Lewes.

Going in would be "Rappers Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang, 'cos I've been known to do all the words for a bet when pissed once or twice.
Halfway through, as the devil dodger tells everyone to have a moment for "their own memory" of me, I'd want "Mack the Knife", by Bobby Darin....it's my karaoke song when pissed.
Of course, Sussex by the Sea on the way out.
It would be great to have the pallbearers wearing Albion shirts...I would of loved to see that, ha ha!!!!

:lolol:

a-ha - "There's Never A Forever Thing" - dedicated to my kids.

Dearest...
Close your eyes now
Don't you cry
It's all right

Lie back
Leave the lights on
It's all right, dear

I'll be here through the night
With you till the first signs of light
Say the word and I'll come tonight

It's all right now
Don't you cry now
Hush...
Wipe your tears away
There's never a forever thing

All through the night
I'll try so hard to be there somehow
With you till the first signs of light
Say the word and I'll come
Tonight

Darling, don't you
Cry.
