I do not have a general definition for you, however out all the pubs in central Worthing I have visited, I believe this to be the only decent one.

West St one is alright, it's a good meeting point for the start of the night to load up on cheap drinks/shots and you can actually hear each other talk.

The background noise in the West Street one sounds like they're permanently closing up.

The Hove one is a f***ing horrible place.

Dark and dingy, rude punters and staff, and if you go in there at Midday, its heaving with people on their 8th drink.

Whats wrong with that? Does that make it a bad pub because people have been in there all morning?
I know id rather drink in a pub where theres other people drinking instead of sat in the corner being the only person in a pub.
