I suspect Cheltenham have similar aspirations to all clubs - to win games and move up the league. It's not just about the clubs history. A player will look at the manager etc.

And the prospect of first team football but mostly about the wages being paid.

He was reputedly on very good money at Leeds so to drop to either us or Cheltenham he would have to consider the drop in wages. DK says that we are compeitive on that front so who knows. Cheltenham may have him on loan with a view to a purchase in January which suits both clubs and the player but who knows what will happen. Th one thing that is certain is that we do not need him on loan whilst we have Thornton, Savage and Ayinsah, not sure about him being the answer as a permananemt in January.

...is best friends with Alan Wright?
...is married to a girl from Cirencester?
...loves walking in the Cotswolds?

What if Westlake went on Big brother and became a minor celebrity resulting in joining Bishop Storford FC because the wages were no-longer a problem?

Westlake is on a stupid amount of money at leeds...for a player in our div...
he didn't sign in the summer for one reason or another..he has gone to cheltenham on loan...thats football thats why we all love so much get over it move on and get behind the players we have got...rather the slagging em off
