We could have sold 10,000 for this game at those reduced
prices...

Exeter took 10,000 to Old Trafford last year (year before?) - OK that was Man U and not West Ham U but Exeter to Manchester is a hell of a lot further and Exeter are a lot smaller than us...

Simply put, lots of people DO want to go...Because it will be a good atmosphere at a decent ground - people go for the day out and invite family/friends to join them... (totally different to a "normal" game...)

well there you go... the people who doubted we would sell 5K, and quickly, were very wrong

Why are you worried? You will be at Land of Leather, Maidstone looking at sofas in the sales that afternoon.

Burton Albion will probably NEVER play at Old Trafford again. We played at Upton Park two seasons ago.

West Ham tickets (if any are left after their season ticket holders and Club Members have had their early purchase option) will go on general sale from 9.00am Friday 15th December.

(it does say here that BHA have been allocated the Centenary Stand Upper and Lower - but surely that would be more than 5000 ??)

first useful post of the day.CHEERS!

:lolol: good point...!

I did actually manage to secure a sofa from Furniture Village (Purley Way) on the last trip but it seems that our "second reception room" now also requires a new sofa as the old one doesn't match the decor... Jan 6th will be perfect timing

Martin Perry has just reported on SCR that the game is NOT a sell-out but the club shop will not be accepting any more applications as all tickets have been sold.

Hope this clears things up
