Zaha isn't going anywhere, for the ninety-third time. Our chairmen have said it, Zaha has said it, our manager has said it.
CPFC2010 - "He's not going anywhere so there's no need to come up with any prices. We now have our best chance in years of getting promoted and we'd be mad to bugger that up by selling one of our best players. We are not some tin pot little club that needs to sell its best players. We're Crystal Palace and we're top of the league."
That's great. Sorry, just getting hacked off with the cumulative effect of the handful of palace who just seem to come here to spoil things.

- start a thread taking the piss
- derail an otherwise decent thread by taking the piss
...report the post and I'll ban them.
Dream scenario then is for Zaha to stay, and for Palace to miss out on promotion, after failing to cash in and offset the losses.
So glad our chairman doesn't post such rubbish on here.

Why would the best player in the league need a vote of confidence? Ferguson today said that Zaha is the best player he'd ever seen at this level.
We've been told he's going nowhere in every transfer window for the last 2 years. Every window you tell us that Zaha will be sold for £2m to Wigan. Now it seems that the fee when he eventually goes will be a lot closer to £20m, and he is still a Palace player.
We always do - we're willing to give anyone a chance to make a positive contribution. Even banter is fine, but there's a line.

No, they didn't. They said they hoped that we would.
That was the original plan, but as you found out when trying to build your stadium, planning permission and NIMBYs make things a lot more complicated than they should be.
CPFC2010 will get a new stadium for Crystal Palace. It might take a while (although hopefully not as long as yours did) but it will happen, and we might be in the Premiership by the time it does

With all due respect (actually, make that with no respect whatsoever), if your chairman actually came out with something like 'We're Crystal Palace and we're top of the league' then that is the very definition of Tinpot. They're supposed to be businessmen, not boasting children.

It is really frustrating for moderate NSC members to have to put up with the sort of s--- which we have to read when other clubs' forums would not allow it for one moment never mind waiting for x number of referals ?
