I live in a constituency that currently has a majority to the blue side of well north of +15k.

“But France says the move flouts international maritime law, which says people at risk of losing their lives at sea must be rescued.”

Interesting so the minute these boat people start floating in French waters then France has an obligation to rescue them under “Maritime Law” have I got that right?

yes, the rest of the world is going to agree to re-write maritime law because a xenophobic politician in England doesn't want to abide international obligations
