So many players are out of work now surely 3 months is better than none.

That's what Rougier did last season for Brentford and for Bristol City after turning us down.

I am not saying sign Rougier up but what I am saying is that players are going to be looking for work.
The market has changed and players cannot be so choosy anymore.

All this soul searching and doom mongering is great fun, but lets not forget that MM has managed at Div One level before, and knows precisely what is required. Given that we ain't got any money, there are few managers I'd rather have than McGhee to pull us through. Whatever happens, it's better than facing a new season with Hinshelwood in charge. Talking to a Burnley fan in Blackburn this morning and he was saying that Burnley only have 9 first team players on their books at the moment - they are going to struggle and have no money to bring in decent players so they will be filling the gaps with youngsters and loan players.
At least we are not in that kind of trouble.
