No. Better team going forward, worse defensively. We wouldn't be as high in the league if we played with two wingers and two strikers I'm afraid.

emnes certainly played well...but hardly ran rings round us

With the way we play I don't think any striker would score a lot of goals for us. We don't cross the ball very often or play many through balls so that's why a lot of our goals come from midfielders.

Back to the original point, I thought a couple if times they were totally on different wavelengths

Nail hit on head, also takes players a varying amount of time to fit into our way of playing. Cms had a good start which may well have given him the impression that he had just fitted in when he hadn't. Next season will be a different matter IMHO

Reading going up = £4m bid for CMS allegedly. Great result at West Ham for Reading and us today then

I would be astonished if any premier club would pay £4m for CMS. I would be happy to get our money back if we sell him in the summer - great shame if we do tho.
