No worries mate, i'm still hoping for a stream but i'm pretty sure we will be let down unfortunately. Oh well looks like the radio will have to do but at least we should get a fair amount of coverage of highlights and that lot if we manage to pull off a result!

Hopefully in the near future clubs and the FA will allow live streams for non uk based subscribers. The technology is definetly there already and many clubs could benefit from this new revenue stream.

There have been whispers of perhaps allowing away match streams to subscibers with revenue being shared between both clubs, i'd certainly pay to stream away matches and I suspect many others would too. The problem would be in preventing broadcasts being picked up by a third party and redistributed ala Justin tv and the like.

Sounds like a class idea, i would pay for it for sure. But like you say about the problem being redistributed, it may damage the crowds for lower league clubs i suppose.

I'm sure some boffin is working on an adequate encryption as if streams could be picked up by anyone it would definetly have an impact crowds.

I always use this website;

English FA Cup 4th Round|Aston Villa - Brighton and Hove 23/1/2010| Free Live P2P Sports Streaming

The stream will come on at around 14:55, will be shockingly slow and have the crowd "effects" sound stream but no commentary.

One crappy survey at the beginning.

I've got RSI doing that f***ing survey and after fifty odd mouse clicks and getting to page 4 out of 5 it said there was an error on the page. .*****! ARRRRRRRRRGGGHHH!!!! I'm off to A&E to have some Carpal Tunnel surgery now, enjoy the game everyone who gets through that survey.

:thumbsup:
