Does anyone here know what underrated means? I'm pretty sure more than half the names on this list are highly rated, are major award winners, or a-list stars. Not exactly underrated.

Listing people like Will Smith and Tom Cruise, two actors who between them have cleaned up on most significant male lead roles in US films over the last 20 years or so and are therefore highly rated in the industry and considered 'serious box' office makes a joke of the whole thing. Uncle Spielberg has a limited range when it comes to cinema - mostly American, mostly big-budget blockbusters, almost always English-speaking (unless it's Ralph Fiennes talking English with a German accent in Schindler's List) - for me his is not an opinion to be taken particularly seriously with regard to film.
