New poster here - anyone else agree with me that since chippy left we are woefully short of a centre midfielder who can play the 'killer' ball in the final third, and to do well next season TB and RS have to sort this position out and spend some wonga in this area ??:ascarf:

We do need a creative midfielder, a la Therry Racon.

Very strange thread title by the way.

But anyone we got would need to be STOPPER as well so we don't concede too easily and also be able to create OPENINGS.

Oh great, it is that time of year when people start calling for us to sign a 'creative' central midfielder.

Sorry to say but they do not exist any more. The 'creative' types tend to play on the wingers, with box to box runners and holding midfielders in the centre.

Still carry on with the annual rubbish.

Paul Scholes
Rafael Van Der Vaart
Xavi (the PERFECT example of a great creative central midfielder)
Andres Iniesta
Pirlo
Riquelme
Seedorf
Fabregas
Kaka
Sneijder

Sorry to say but you're talking RUBBISH.

If you say so.

The modern English game generally puts the more creative types on the wing. Scholes was a classic box to box midfielder, Beckham did a lot of the creative work in that side.
