By the seaside in West Somerset
Having driven down from the far north just as the "real" fans were heading up to the Huddersfield game I am getting very concerned. Not only does it look like there will be no live stream in the UK and I will therefore have to fall back on Player, but no-one has started the official match thread yet (I would but I might get the asterisks in the wrong place and besides it's not my role and it might be bad luck). It's all doom and gloom unless one of our regular contributers gets his act together soon...................................

Well the 365 one works for me! f***ing stoked, it's been one hell of a year so far for someone who's never previously got to watch their team play.

palace is the evening telly game, so obviously a stream.

your game should be the main one on the football league show so will get the bbc stream and commentary

Seems to me the Football League needs to move with the times. We can watch all these games via a patchy convoluted link or they can start charging for a fully supported link, with the money feeding back into the clubs. Couple of years back I can recall walking down a side street in some random town on Kos and you could take your pick from any Premier League Saturday 3pm kick-off you fancied. Position your comfy bar chair right and you could watch a couple of games at the same time

I'm pretty sure its gonna go that way Tom eventually, I do find it strange that its not been done though, something like this should've been set up years ago!

If they were to stream matches kicking off at 3pm in the UK for example, the chances are attendances at matches everywhere would drop as fans would watch games on Tv (or via free streams) rather than maybe going to watch their team or a local team if their club is playing away from home. This is why Sky etc, never show a saturday 3pm game live.

also, the link may go down once or twice which means you need to reload

and more importantly, there is a 30-50 second delay so don't have sky sports news on in the background or keep reloading the forum, unless you want your enjoyment spoilt

You could also do that along Western Road a few years back until the pubs got rumbled!
