Judging by the amount of people buying from the shop I think that will be big ££££'s to add to the funds :)

The stadium shop might be doing great business on Saturdays but Queen's Road has quietened right down. Time to re-design the kit and flog another 30,000 of them, eh?!

Well this 2nd season is when all those little "extra's" start to kick in.......would love us to spend £10 million this summer as a statement of intent..

I hope we don't.

Anyone know a rough cost for putting the extra seats in over the summer?

Don't forget the value of 1901.

2,000 members x £500 (or £1,000), paid for debenture in advance = £2 or £3,000,000

Commitment of 2,000 members to pay £80 per month over 60 months = c.£9,600,000, less finance charge for club to get this money from the bank as a one-off payment (a bit like getting a sofa from DFS)

Both of these don't give an future revenue (well at least for 5 years), but does bolster bank account by £11 or £12 million.

Is your statement of intent that we are the new Portsmouth/Rangers/Leicester/Leeds and will go into administration as a result of 'chasing the dream'?

Only because of their wage bill, clubs don't exist to make a profit so most turnover gets spent on wages.

Bigger turnover means bigger wage bill, and bigger wage bill means better players

or better stewards!?

just kidding, I love our stewards!!

My 1901....£91.20 per month...after initial fee of £1,000 plus VAT £125,this is gold, think Platinum was even higher.

I had forgotten what monthly DD was. So, £91.20 x 2000 x £60 = c.£11,000,000

I too paid £1,000 plus VAT per seat for 50-year "ownership", but there was the option of £500 for 5 years. If everyone bought the 50-year option, then adds £2 million, (not as per my previous post).

Back to c.£12 or £12.5 million

If I'm reading your post right, that's £11m over five years - not one year.

Closer to £2.2m.

The 1901 DD arrangement is a five-year deal, of £91.20 per month. The contract allows the Club to capitalise this as a loan. Similar to a Building Society lending me £5,500, knowing that I will pay it back plus interest at £91.20 per month.

Once I signed the DD arrangement, the Club could have trotted down to its funder and got £5,500 cash, using my DD to pay back the funder.

It is a bit artificial, but if the Club wanted to get its hands on c.£11 million now, it could do so.
